Strong in His Grace

The Scripture has a great deal to say about the subject of ‘grace’. Church reformers defined it as the unmerited favour of God and no one would disagree. This definition certainly applies in the Old Testament where the word ‘grace’ is often translated as God’s ‘lovingkindness’. In the New Testament, we are told to come boldly to the throne of grace to find help, and the apostle Paul wrote that God’s grace was ‘sufficient’ for him.
