On the final evening of His life and just before He became the sum of all offering, Jesus Christ told His disciples that He earnestly desired to eat the Passover with them. Luke 22:15. In his letter to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul explained that we participate in Christ’s offering when we eat and drink the bread and wine in our communion service.
